简介：After the mid-16th century, Europe sent missionaries to China one after another. In 1569, Bishop Carneiro of Macau established San Raffaele Hospital and Leprosy Hospital in Macau. This is the earliest Western hospital in Chinese history. In the 22nd year of Wanli (1594), St. Paul's College in Macau expanded into a university and established a medical internship class.
